Hello, I'm Desmond.

I'm a software engineer and the co-founder and CTO of Wewire, where we build payment infrastructure for moving money across borders in fiat and stablecoins. I also teach: my Pluralsight courses cover TypeScript and building resilient Node.js microservices.

My newest venture is Movia, a fintech that lets a group pool money for a trip and spend it together with one shared card.

On the side I build consumer products like HabitMirror and PostForge, and learn to market them. I write here about engineering, travel and whatever else I'm figuring out.
